Harriers' Jake Richardson runs 15:41 for 3 miles

London Mini Marathon

WHILE tens of thousands of runners trawled their way through the streets of London for the country’s biggest marathon on Sunday (Apr 13), Nene Valley Harriers’ Jake Richardson stormed his way to a swift 15:41 over three miles in the Virgin London Mini Marathon.

The Mini Marathon represents the pinnacle of road racing for young athletes across the country, all of whom had to qualify for the event by placing highly in their regional trials. Jake, 17, finished 56th in his race, and sixth for the East Midlands.
