Glorious gold at county cross country

Six Peterborough & Nene Valley AC stars won team gold in the Eastern Counties Cross Country Championships at Horseheath in South Cambridgeshire on Saturday 20 November. Our ‘galloping glory hunters’ team included the recipient of a new hip and a recent heart attack victim, proving you have to be in it to win it! The bling won by our athletes was not restricted to team medals - Alex Gibb’s claimed third place prize, and there were age group silvers for Dan Lewis and Steve Hall, with Paul Parkin picking up over 55 bronze.
