A contingent of young Harriers travelled to Watford to compete in the 800 metres open evening races.
Nathaniel Taylor set a PB (personal best) of 2:02.08, and had 2 reasons to celebrate as his time also gave him the Oakham School intermediate record over the distance.The consistent Megan Ellison was a fraction of a second outside her PB, but her time of 2:17.92 was the 2nd fastest time run by an under 15 girl on the night. Ellison's brother Ethan was also on duty completing the 2 laps in 2:24.4. 13 year old Amber Park recorded an impressive PB of 2.25.35, and Max Butler was within a second of his fastest time, with a 2:01.31 clocking.
The fastest Harrier on the night was club stalwart Sean Reidy, who narrowly missed out on his 1st Sub 2 minute 800 metres of the season with 2:00.98.
