Training

• Main training

The club meets every Monday at St Guthlacs School, Crowland (7 - 8pm) and Tuesday and Thursday (7 - 8pm) at the Embankment Athletics track (Peterborough Athletics Arena, Bishops Road, Peterborough, PE1 5BW).

• Spalding, Lincolnshire

Spalding training every Monday & Wednesday 6 pm - 7.30 pm at the Castle Sports Centre in Spalding .

• Bourne, Lincolnshire

Tuesday and Thursdays (except school holidays) meet at Beech Avenue (an entrance to Bourne Woods) at 4 pm

During school holidays - Tuesday and Thursday 9.30 am in the Bourne Woods Car Park

All Saturday and Sundays at 9.30 am in the Bourne Woods Car Park (applies to every Saturday and Sunday when NOT racing)

At Hill Farm, Chesterton, Peterborough - various dates throughout the year

• Wells, Norfolk

Training and fun day on the beach in Wells, Norfolk (usually in July but further training sessions may also be offered)

The beach at Wells-next-the-Sea, and on to Holkham to the West, is one of the most beautiful areas of North Norfolk. Located 1.5 miles from the town, the sandy beach opens out to the North Sea. You can walk or drive to the beach, or take the miniature railway which runs up to the Pinewoods Camping Site.

The site offers the perfect chance to walk (or in NVHs case - run) along the beach and through the Pinewoods forest then have a paddle in the sea, followed by a hot drink in the cafe or picnic with NVH friends in the sand! Usually after lunch the club athletes (mums, dads, relatives and friends included) join together to play games and generally have fun in the sun (don't forget your sun cream and even a light jacket just in case it rains). Dogs are welcome along this part of the beach but please bring them plenty of water. At the end of the day there is a traditional fish and chip supper on the sea wall by the quay in Wells.
