Here's Barry Warne's report from the fourth of this year's Harrier League.
The February round of Nene Valley's long running Harrier League series was won by Eye Community Runner Chris Herdman, on his first outing at the event. Matt Edwards, also of Eye was second, with Nene Valley's Jay Belham taking third place in a new personal best time of 18:51.
Sarah Overington representing Eye was the fastest lady on the night, with her time of 19:40 placing the 24 year old in pole position for the fastest lady of the series title.
Stamford Strider, James Skinner, was the quickest men with a 17:12 clocking, but Nene Valley's Drew Warnes still holds the fastest time of the series after his 16:47 finish in November.
Charlie Brookes of Pactrac leads the standings with two races to go from Bushfield Jogger Alison Shepperson, and Mick Davies of Eye.
