Lincolnshire County Championships - By Ken Maggs
The championships was spread over two very cold and windy days with plenty of rain on the Saturday at Gratham.
Notable performaces:
Robert Mohan winning the under 20s shot putt smashing the chamionship record by over 2m with 17.60m. That putt won him the Lincolnshire City and Colleges Trophy for the performance of the championships. This was also the county record.
Alex Hampson won both the under 13s 800m and 1500m with the 1500m winning time of 4:57.2 breaking the championship record.
Jenna Mohan (Robert's sister) won the under 15s javelin with a club record 25.89m (she is first year in that age group)
Beth Denial had a cracking weekend, having just turned 11 and moved into the competitive age groups she qualified for the finals of both the 100m and 200m
11 County champions and 29 medalists
