Rearranged after the snow in the New Year, meant a very heavy course which proved extra challenging when the rains broke out.  This was a muddy and hilly course which tested all those who did participate.
Under 11, Bradley Allan took his first county medal with a third place finish and was supported by Matt Hornsby 6th and Adam Whitwell 7th which was strong enough to win the unoffical team prize.  There is not normally any prizes as this is not recognised by the Lincolnshire AA but prizes were supplied by organising club Lincoln Wellington.
Under 13, Alex Hampson keeps his locally undefeated record going becoming County Champion by 20 seconds, having taken a minor detour at the end and coming back onto the course after missing the final turn.
The under 15 boys team of Ben Hampson 7th, Nathan Denial 8th and Ellis O'Connel 9th won second team.  They were supported by James thomas 11th and Jacob Hart 14th who may not have scored but did knock Lincoln Wellington scorers further down the list.
Lloyd Kempson was 8th in the under 17 men.
Under 20, spritners Jamie Caress and twin Adam finished 4th and 6th respectively which along with their results giving them 2nd and 3rd in the Lincolnshire Legaue, detailed below meant that they achieved selection for the under 20 Inter-counties team for Lincolnshire.  A first in either athletes career.
Mike Chapman achieved a hard third place in the senior men's event followed by Chris Cooper in fourth.  The absence of a third athlete prevented them winning a team award.

Andy Caress trailed his two sons by some distance but achieved 25th in the vets event, followed by Mike Hornsby in 27th.
Under 11 grils Beth Denial and Kirya Overton finisged 5th and 6th respectively.
Under 13 girl, Tegan Mills finished 9th and under 15, Jade Carvath-Smith finished 7th with neither athlete having a team.
The young ladies, Tanya Taylor and Deb Hornsby making up our veteran ladies team ran superbly to finish as County Champion and third place respectively.
The turnout for all clubs including Nene Valley was disappointing but was due to the cancellation from early January.  We had 44 entered and 6 under 11s but only 17 and 5 under 11 finished with one person failing to do so.
